As part of QPharma’s ongoing support for the life science industry, we are sharing this regulatory reminder regarding Oregon’s pharmaceutical representative licensing requirements. This alert is intended to help ensure timely renewal and compliance ahead of the January 1, 2026 deadline.
Annual Renewal Requirements
To maintain licensure, representatives must:
- Complete 5 hours of accredited continuing education (CE) annually.
- Submit a renewal application via the Oregon licensing website.

License Renewal Opens – Effective December 1, 2025
Sales representatives who market or promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers in Oregon for 15 or more days per calendar year must be licensed by the state. Renewal applications for 2026 can be submitted beginning on December 1, 2026 via the Oregon Pharmaceutical Representative Licensing Portal.
