Home > Regulatory Alerts > January 15, 2026 – Regulatory Reminder: Nevada Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Registration Requirements

Action Required by January 15

Manufacturers with pharmaceutical sales representatives operating in Nevada are required to update representative registration annually on or before January 15. Some companies may have already received reminders from Nevada DHHS requesting updated information.

Registration Requirements

Manufacturers must register representatives by sending an email to drugtransparency@dhhs.nv.gov. Additional instructions can be found on the Nevada DHHS drug transparency reporting site.

Reporting Employment Changes

When field personnel who operate in Nevada are hired or terminated, companies must notify DHHS to add or remove the representative from the registry. These notifications should be submitted before a representative begins activity in Nevada or promptly after termination to drugtransparency@dhhs.nv.gov.

Confirmation and ID Numbers

DHHS will issue a confirmation email upon receipt of a registration update.
State-issued pharmaceutical representative identification numbers are assigned or updated within 14 calendar days.
