As part of QPharma’s ongoing support for our Transparency Reporting clients, we are sharing a regulatory reminder regarding Oregon’s pharmaceutical representative licensing requirements. This alert is intended to help ensure timely renewal and compliance ahead of the January 1, 2025 deadline.
License Renewal Now Open – Effective December 1, 2024
Sales representatives who market or promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare providers in Oregon for 15 or more days per calendar year must be licensed by the state. Renewal applications for 2025 can now be submitted via the Oregon Pharmaceutical Representative Licensing Portal.
Annual Renewal Requirements
To maintain licensure, representatives must:
- Submit a renewal application via the Oregon licensing website.
- Complete 5 hours of accredited continuing education (CE) annually.
